I’m not a Chicago Cubs fan but I got caught up in the excitement of the 2016 World Series. The team’s stunning victory in extra innings resulted in their first championship in more than 100 years. The victory parade through Chicago was massive.
Pictures of cheering fans inspired today’s devotional because it brought to mind Paul’s use of the victory parade metaphor in 2 Corinthians.
