When my Crosswalk editor asked writers for submissions on resources addressing racism and racial reconciliation, I agreed to write the article because I had already thought about this topic. So, this Crosswalk article is similar to a recent post although I have added a few new resources.
As with all books and resources outside the Bible, I don’t agree with everything in these books. It is important for me to listen to other voices on challenging topics, especially in areas that are not part of my experience. Even if I didn’t agree with some of the details or every aspect of their conclusions, engaging with these books gave me new empathy and understanding.
