After a sermon entitled “Where is God” from Malachi 4, we received an email from a friend at church about how her father came to faith because of Malachi 4:2, “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.” The verse meant so much to him that he requested that his family engrave the verse on his tombstone!
I was so intrigued by her story (I had never heard of someone coming to faith from a passage in Malachi!) that I reached out to her. Her dad’s beautiful testimony became the basis of today’s devotional.
