I adored the 2019 remake of Little Women. It reminded me of one of my favorite lines in the book spoken by Marmee, the family matriarch:
“Troubles and temptations . . . may be many, but you can overcome and outlive them all if you learn to feel the strength and tenderness of your heavenly Father.”
Today’s devotional was written as an encouragement to run to the strength and tenderness of God, our refuge in times of trouble. As you read, take time to reflect on the times that you have experienced God’s strength in times of trouble.
