Happy Thanksgiving!
One of the more unusual Thanksgiving traditions (other than marshmallows on sweet potatoes – yum!) is the annual pardoning of one or two turkeys by the U.S President. This year, Biden pardoned Peach and Blossom.
It’s unusual because a pardon is a life altering for the recipient, but these turkeys have no idea of the blessing they have received. Among the feasting and joy of the holiday this year, it’s a good time to consider what it means that God has pardoned us.
