Today’s entry in “The Greatest Love” Easter devotional was inspired after viewing the beautiful artwork “Simon of Cyrene” by contemporary artist Egbert Modderman. In addition to drawing me into the emotional and physical burden Simon faced, the painting helped me to recognize Simon’s ethnicity as a Black African, one of many Black men and women who are part of the biblical account.
More of Modderman’s paintings can be viewed on his website.
All is well,
Lisa
